Mapping the Future of Onsite Learning
At its 2007 Professional Education Conference-Europe in Copenhagen, Meeting Professionals International (MPI) brought together some of the leading knowledge and experience on the design of effective learning meetings. The conference white paper delivered that material to a global audience of meeting planners and suppliers. To produce the white paper, The Conference Publishers assembled a project team that consisted of two local writers and one project manager/content specialist from Ottawa.
National Parent Club Canine Health Conference
In October 2005, the American Kennel Club Canine Health Foundation held a weekend conference in St. Louis that explored the similarities between the canine and human genomes and the implications for animal and human health research. In addition to a detailed summary report, The Conference Publishers produced speaking notes and presentation slides to support information updates to purebred dog clubs across the United States.
World Conference of Science Journalists
The 4th World Conference of Science Journalists took place in Montreal in October 2004. The Conference Publishers produced an in-depth summary report for an event that highlighted key science policy issues, encouraged reporters from around the world to exchange information and best practices, and promoted the role of science journalists in science, society, and the media.
Raoul Wallenberg Day International Human Rights Symposium
In January 2005, the Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto hosted a two-day international human rights symposium to commemorate the life of Swedish diplomat Raoul Wallenberg, one of the world's most courageous humanitarians. The 54-page summary report produced by The Conference Publishers captured the pressing legal, human rights, and security issues that have come to light in recent world hotspots, from Darfur to Rwanda and from South Africa to former Yugoslavia.
